Benefit Fundraiser for The Connection

Come join The Connection for a special event on Saturday, November nineteenth. The Buxiejo Gallery, located on 718 N. Santa Fe Drive in Denver, will be hosting a fundraiser called Champagne and Cupcakes for the non-profit organization. The event starts at six in the evening and ends at nine. People are invited to come in and enjoy the delicacies of fresh, baked cupcakes and divine champagne while spending time with family and friends. It’s thirty-five dollars to register. All proceeds go to The Connection and the students they help.

The Connection Youth Drop-In Center is an organization that offers high school students a positive environment to retreat to after school. It’s a place where teens are given the opportunity to be themselves in a safe environment. Located at 545 West 10^th Avenue in Broomfield, The Connection is open for high school teens during and after-school hours of 1PM–5PM Monday through Friday.

Among the Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers of The Connection, many years of experience working with youth are at the disposal of high school teens in the Broomfield community. The daily program and structure are targeted towards the interests of the youth that the center serves. Whether it’d be the improvement of academic skills, development of vocational skills, participation in hobbies, involvement in community service projects, or watching movies and playing games, The Connection offers it all.
