Boulder Cuba Sister City Organization Fall Meeting: Wed., Nov. 19th, 7pm

The Fall Meeting will be at the George Reynolds Branch Library, in Table Mesa, Boulder.

Yvette Pita, a videographer, will show a short video of a Project CURE delegation to Guantánamo Province, Cuba in May 2008. The Boulder-Cuba Sister City Organization raised funds to sponsor the Project CURE shipments of medical equipment and supplies to our sister city and two other towns. Yvette will discuss the delegation's experiences visiting different medical facilities to assess how past donations are being used as well as future needs. Other items on the agenda include: future collaboration with Project CURE, a rum tasting benefit, and environmental education projects.
