Centennial, CO – The Gun Store at Centennial is now offering “Prepare U“ campus safety classes in rapid-fire response to the highly controversial Colorado Supreme Court ruling concerning the carrying of concealed weapons on college and university campuses in Colorado.
Located at 6649 Paris Street just north of Arapahoe Road, the new shooting facility will feature a host of classes to prepare college and university staff and students, ages 21 and older, for the responsibility of carrying a concealed weapon. Taught by expert instructors in The Gun Store’s training center, “Prepare U” courses will include study of the importance of the Second Amendment, maintaining a firearm, and teaching staff and students tactics necessary for protecting themselves and loved ones.
“We are living in times where the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution must be upheld” said store owner Richard Abramson. “Law-abiding American citizens with a concealed handgun permit should be able to protect themselves from dangerous criminals, regardless of where they are and by any means necessary.”
Adds Abramson, “The Supreme Court ruling recognizes that the Second Amendment and Colorado State law allow individuals to have the tools necessary to protect themselves even when they are on a college campus. If only a professor or student were armed and trained during the tragedy at Virginia Tech, the situation could have ended much more favorably.”
The Gun Store at Centennial also offers concealed carry and tactical classes, plus a wide variety of self-defense courses, including less lethal force-on-force, Taser and pepper spray; a six-lane shooting range; and a pro shop with a wide selection of concealable firearms, tactical shotguns, high-powered military grade rifles, shooting apparel and accessories.
