Colorado Connections Academy Opens Enrollment for the 2026-2027 Academic Year

Families statewide are welcome to join this tuition-free online school with college and career readiness courses

Englewood, Colo. – As Digital Learning Day approaches on February 12, 2026, families across Colorado have an opportunity to explore a high-quality online public school option for their children. Colorado Connections Academy is a  tuition-free, online public school serving students in grades K-12 across the state that offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes core subjects, honors and Advanced Placement courses, and career-readiness opportunities.

“Colorado Connections Academy gave me the flexibility to work, travel and take college classes while still staying on top of high school requirements,” said Colorado Connections Academy 12th grader, Matthias Hesser. “But more than that, it’s helped me learn how to manage my time and responsibilities on my own. I feel way more prepared for the real world and for going into aviation after graduation.”

At Colorado Connections Academy, high school students have dual enrollment opportunities to earn college credit simultaneously in partnership with area colleges. This spring, Matthias will be graduating with more than 30 college credits and is already pursuing aviation training, with the goal of becoming a pilot. He balances school with a part-time job at a local mechanic shop and active involvement in 4H shooting sports and community projects.
