Erotic Polarity in Intimacy and Evolution, With Dr. Keith Witt

This event welcomes singles and couples over the age of 18 of any sexual orientation. Just bring your full and open body, mind, heart and Spirit…

. Erotic polarity is created by masculine and feminine energy sources in proximity and sparks both of them. It fascinates us and is the heart of love affairs. . Erotic polarity ebbs and flows in relationships depending on safety, depth of consciousness, development, emotional states, hormonal balances, stressors, and the mysteries of human intimacy. . We all share feminine and masculine aspects. The archetypes of the the feminine as fountain of love and divine knowing, and the masculine as warrior and man of wisdom arise spontaneously in human societies, and always exist in energetic interplay with each other. As we deepen we can access these mythic forces to benefit ourselves, our lovers, and human kind. . Most of us have felt evolution working through us as an optimizing force. We yearn toward the beautiful, good, and true in our thoughts, actions, and relationships. To our dismay, suffering often intrudes as habitual shame, social demands, defensive states, egoic fixations, and relational train wrecks. How do we include and transcend bad habits and negative conditioning to live fully-to surrender to our personal myths of love and service? . Neurobiological research tells us that we rarely eliminate defensive reflexes our nervous system associates with survival. We can include and transcend them by creating secure attachment with ourselves and others, and relaxing into developmental processes which harmonize constantly shifting states of consciousness and altitudes on different developmental lines. . To do this we need to face our most beautiful and repellent selves, connect them with compassion, and exercise intent and will to allow them to evolve towards unity. Wherever there are blocks to growth, we can add compassion and allow ourselves to change. This simple process can resolve trauma, integrate defensive states, and support delicious intimacy. . Throughout this weekend we’ll explore ideas, use music and movement, discover and liberate our masculine and feminine selves, and engage in exercises and personal work to identify and challenge defensive states. We will clarify and enhance personal myths-the autobiographical narratives of our lives. Each of us is at the center of a unique universe, and we can determine the direction and evolutionary flow of our reality through compassionate understanding and right action. . This workshop will be illuminating, transformative, edgy and lots of fun. .
