The Taste of Shakespeare presents Merchant of Venice tells the story of greed, prejudice, love, and mercy. Antonio and Shylock run at odds throughout the story, after Antonio borrows from Shylock, and Shylock demands his infamous "pound of flesh". The women in this play are surprisingly strong characters, and are instrumental in resolving all the plot's problems.
Stephany Roscoe directs this joint production of Longmont Theater's Taste of Shakespeare, and the Lafayette Theater Company.
