Homewatch Caregivers of Boulder is celebrating client, Margaret Bowdey, turning 100 on May 20, 2020 along with her family!

Margaret’s parents both immigrated separately from Scotland prior to WWI, met and married before her father went off to war.

Margaret was born in her aunt’s home in Massachusetts before her family moved to Rochester, NY where she grew up. She met and married her husband, had two kids and moved to Colorado in 1948 where they had two more kids.

In 1957 they purchased a home in Boulder, CO where they raised their four kids and where she still resides today.

Along with being a veracious reader, Margaret has been committed to corresponding with family and friends through her life, and continues to write up to 4 notes per day. Margaret’s son Dan says, “note writing is a way for her to stay connected to her past”.

Margaret’s mother was a nurse and private caregiver for kids with special needs. It’s no wonder that Margaret and her caregivers have formed a wonderful bond.

Homewatch Caregivers has been serving Boulder County for 26 years. They have continued to provide outstanding service to  our community members, since 1994
