DENVER, Colo. – Spavia Day Spa, a Colorado-born concept known for its luxurious, resort-inspired spa amenities, is celebrating its Co-Founder and CEO Marty Langenderfer. Today, the Denver entrepreneur was named a “Titan 100” award recipient, which recognizes Langenderfer as one of the state’s most accomplished business leaders demonstrating exceptional leadership, vision, and passion.
Under Langenderfer’s dynamic leadership, Spavia has witnessed remarkable growth through its franchising initiative. His high energy and strong need for achievement have been vital in growing Spavia to 58 locations, meeting the evolving self-care needs for guests nationwide. Langenderfer's dedication to making an impact on the wellness industry extends to Spavia’s launch of Sway, a groundbreaking self-care wellness studio debuting in Downtown Denver this fall. Sway offers a one-of-a-kind multi-sensory experience complemented by a diverse range of rejuvenating health and wellness treatments including massages, facials and cutting-edge treatments while epitomizing luxury without the high price tag. Trending treatments, such as cold plunge and lymphatic drainage massages, are also available and cater to the needs of the most health-conscious generations to date—Gen Alpha, Gen Z and Millennials.
Additionally, Langenderfer is deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of wellness professionals through his work founding St. Moritz Academy, a modernized massage therapy trade school in Denver. The school focuses on cultivating top-tier licensed massage therapists by providing cutting-edge training and resources, furthering Langenderfer’s commitment to education and professional development to drive excellence and innovation in the wellness sector.
Drawing from his rich background, Langenderfer began his career as a CPA at a leading accounting firm, honing his financial acumen before pursuing an MBA at Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management. His tenure at American Airlines’ Sabre Division, where he contributed to the founding of Travelocity, provided invaluable experience in building and scaling pioneering ventures.
