The Karastan carpet has worn so well that they have chosen the same carpet to replace it.Howard Lorton Galleries provided the carpet both times, first in 1971 when the house was first opened to the public, and again in 2009. Located just a few blocks away from the Molly Brown House, Howard Lorton Galleries was around in Molly Brown's day.
