New price and new speaker! Come away to the Caribbean on
Thursday February 12, at the first Boulder-Cuba Sister City Organization's
Romance of Rum rum tasting party and fundraiser. Featured speaker will be rum connoisseur
Edward Hamilton, author of several books on rum and founder of the Ministry of Rum website. Guests will have the opportunity to sample a variety of rums from the Caribbean, accompanied by hors d'oeuvres from Aji, Centro and Islands.
In addition to the talk and rum tasting, there will be a silent auction of exotically themed gift baskets that would make wonderful gifts for Valentine's Day, and DANCING to a Latin beat. Guest host/DJ is Arturo Gómez of radio KUVO. BOCUSCO will be selling its famous Mojitos to round out an unforgettable evening at the beautiful Rembrandt Yard gallery in downtown Boulder, an evening of enjoying yourself and helping others.
