1st Yellow Barn Film Festival

The Yellow Barn Farm is pleased to announce the 1st Annual Yellow Barn Film Festival at the historic Yellow Barn at 9417 N Foothills Hwy, on 9 December, 2023.

Geoff Marslett’s Quantum Cowboys - filmed at the Yellow Barn Farm itself - has been selected as centerpiece to kick off the Festival’s inaugural season of films centered on agriculture, land stewardship and Coloradan artistry. Presented in four distinct thematic programs, this year’s program also includes performances from Lily Gladstone, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Lily Tomlin, Lewis Pullman and others.

The Yellow Barn Film Festival explores our collective relationship with the Land through a rich and diverse programming of fiction, documentary, and art films. At our home in Northern Colorado, we witness the Land's transformative power, its resilience in the face of adversity, and its capacity to inspire awe, reverence and action.

Our mission is to bridge the gap between art, nature, and community through storytelling.
