Event Description

Emmanuel Sanders, wide receiver of the Denver Broncos and Jeff Storey, CEO of Level 3 Communications, to be Honored at the 2016 Heroes of A Precious Child Luncheons

(Broomfield and Denver Metro, CO) Local nonprofit, A Precious Child, will host two Heroes of A Precious Child fundraising luncheons this fall.  The first luncheon takes place on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at the Omni Interlocken Resort in Broomfield, Colorado where Emmanuel Sanders, wide receiver of the Denver Broncos, will be the keynote speaker and will be receiving A Precious Child’s Heroes award.  The second luncheon takes place on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at the Westin Denver Downtown in Denver, Colorado where Jeff Storey, CEO of Level 3 Communications will be the keynote speaker. Jeff Storey and his family will be presented with the A Precious Child Heroes award.

Members of the community are invited to attend both Heroes of A Precious Child Luncheons to celebrate those receiving the Heroes award, hear about their efforts in improving the lives of children, and to learn more about the essential work the organization does.  In previous years these luncheons have brought more than 500 key community members, elected officials, and business leaders together.  Registration starts at 11:00AM, with lunch being promptly served at 11:30AM and the program to shortly follow.  All proceeds from the Heroes of A Precious Child Luncheons will benefit the nonprofit and aid its mission, providing basic essentials, such as clothing, shoes, backpacks, school supplies, and toiletries to disadvantaged and displaced children in Colorado.

“In 2015 A Precious Child served more than 33,500 children in need,” said Carina Martin, CEO and Founder of A Precious Child. “This would not be possible without the support we receive from caring community members through events such as our luncheons”.
