CONGRATULATIONS TO "SPEAK WITH EASE" TOASTMASTERS CLUB CONTEST WINNERS, JOEL RASHBAUM AND DWIGHT SWANEY !!

Lafayette Toastmasters Club “Speak With Ease” held its club contest and a party afterwards on September 24, 2008 at 7pm. There was a speech contest and an evaluation contest. Joel Rashbaum won the speech contest with a lively presentation of his speech "The Old Man in the Mirror".

Bob Bennett, our target speaker and a past "Speak With Ease" president, presented an inspirational speech about following one's passion which urged the audience to take immediate action and live their dreams now. Dwight Swaney won the speech evaluation contest with an extremely insightful and humorous evaluation of Bob's speech.

Joel and Dwight will move on to the area contest to be held October 11th at Micro Motion Inc. in Boulder! Our best wishes go with them!
