Drive for Show, Putt for Dreamers

This year marks the 7th annual “I Have a Dream” Foundation of Boulder County’s golf tournament fundraiser. The tournament is scheduled to be held on June 18th at the recently re-named course, The Colorado National Golf Club located in Erie. The tournament has been sold-out for the last two years, but the economy has affected this year’s participation. Non-profit organizations have been among the hardest hit during these tough economic times because we rely so heavily on the contributions from others. Fortunately, the dreams of hundreds of Boulder’s impoverished children live on despite hardships.
A few foursome openings remain available along with sponsorship opportunities. This is a great chance to promote your company at a charitable event where all the benefits go directly back into the Boulder community via the “I Have a Dream” after-school program. The local Boulder organization has been helping impoverished children in the area by providing them with tutors, positive mentors, learning centers, and extracurricular activities that they would not otherwise have exposure to since 1990.
The tournament is set to feature Reggie Rivers as Emcee and other celebrities such as Denver Nugget Anthony Carter, a former Dreamer. Coupled with the excellent golfing conditions and celebrities, there will be a silent auction, prize giveaways, and a delicious breakfast and luncheon!
