Boulder attorney Gordon Gamm and his wife Grace awarded five students scholarships to help pay for costs associated with the colleges they are attending. The five scholarship recipients are former Dreamers from the "I Have a Dream" Foundation of Boulder County. The Gamms hosted a reception at their home on February 23rd to present the $2,500 scholarships to David Meza (University of Denver), Diana Morris (Metro State College), Savannah Ottero (CU), Jazmin Pando (CU) and Elizabeth Vasquez (Front Range Community College.)
"Thanks to the tremendous donations from the Gamms, Dreamers are able to continue the success they experienced in high school on the college level," said Lori Canova, "I Have a Dream" Chief Executive Officer. "These scholarships are an excellent incentive for Dreamers to enter and complete college."
This year marks the fifth year that Gamm and his wife have provided scholarships to Dreamers through their generous philanthropic efforts. The Gamms also provide funding to "I Have a Dream" to help support the College Coordinator AmeriCorps position, which helps support Dreamers through their college experiences.
