Tom Burton and Dan Chase Win 2010 Area 5 Toastmasters Contest!

Tom Burton and Dan Chase of Lafayette Colorado's Toastmasters Club "Speak With Ease" received first place awards at the Toastmasters Area 5 Contest on March 20th, 2010.  Tom Burton won the Table Topics Contest with an extemporaneous speech about his dream of owning his own race car and going as fast as he wants legally!  Dan Chase won the inspirational speech contest with a speech on living your life in the now because it affects your future and is based in your past. Tom and Dan will be going on to compete in the Eastern Division Inspirational Speech Contest on April 10th at the Xilinx Retreat Center in Longmont.

If you are interested in joining a Toastmasters club, please feel free to drop in on our meeting at the Baha'i Center in Lafayette at 1312 Centaur Village.  We meet from 6:45pm till 8:30 pm on Wednesdays. (You don't need to be a resident of Lafayette to join our club.)  We love guests!
