Seed Collection Conservation Project at Rocky Flats for Children of the American Revolution

Children of the American Revolution members participated in a conservation project sponsored by Wetlands Restoration Volunteers, “WRV”.  Native seeds are a crucial part of the restoration of public lands to their natural habitat.  Invasive grasses, flowers and other plants crowd out native species which hinder the natural life cycle of our ecosystems. Students win American History Essay Contest "Memoirs of Paul Revere" sponsored by Arapahoe Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution

17ft. Sequoia planted in Catalpa Park!

Children of the American Revolution (CAR) Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the first moon landing by building rockets.

The William Smith Livingston Society of the Children of the American Revolution's (CAR) recent meeting highlighted learning about the Apollo 11 Mission and celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the first moon landing by building rockets. Children of the American Revolution (CAR), Scouts Spread Good Cheer

Members of the William Smith Livingston CAR (Children of the American Revolution) Society teamed up with local Scouts to collect items for military care packages. CAR members Jack Carlson, 7 and Reed Coker, 10 joined with fellow Cub Scouts who agreed to contribute to the service project. During their annual popcorn sale they asked for donations to send popcorn to active duty military soldiers. Daughters of the American Revolution and Children of the American Revolutin in the Louisville Labor Day Parade

25 members of the Arapahoe Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution participated in the Louisville Labor Day Parade. Many members wore Colonial Costume. 14 hildren of the American Revolution, sponsored by the Daughters of the American Revolution also marched in the parade, dressed in Colonial costume and everyone handed out over 900 American Flags and cards describing the committees of Scholarship, Project Patriot and American History Essay Contests for Boulder Valley Schools.
