Peaches, Peaches, Peaches!

2012 was another banner year for our peaches trees. Even after two rounds of pruning, we ended up with over a thousand peaches. It's too many to pick by hand, so we do a "big shake" onto a tarp - here's a time-lapse video of the comedy!

Pretty much every flat surface in the house is covered in peaches!

And my wife Wendy spends countless hours dicing 'em up for freezing - peaches year-around!

Our trash doesn't smell too good with hundreds of pounds of peach remnants in there

But our freezer is stocked - in total, over 30 bags and 100+ pounds of peaches

Not only did we like 'em, but so did the wasps and rabbits!
