TAIKO WORKSHOP with Grand Master Seiichi Tanaka

Date: Saturday, September 21st from 10:00 am – 3:30 pm

Location: West Gate Kung Fu School, 3005 Sterling Circle, Boulder, CO (off Valmont Road)

Class size is limited and advance registration is highly recommended. Receive a $5.00 discount by registering in advance with payment in full by Saturday, September 14th.  Please make check payable to Boulder Taiko HIBIKI and write TSC workshop 2013 on the memo line (cash is also always appreciated).

We will accept advance registration payment in person at West Gate Kung Fu School on Saturday, September 7^th and 14^th, between the hours of 8:30 am-12:30 pm, or you can mail your payment and registration form to Julia Misawa at 4175 Lonetree Court, Boulder, CO 80301.

Registrations by mail postmarked by September 14th will be eligible for the discounted price. All other mail-in registrations must be postmarked by September 14th. While there will be no registration discount after September 14th, we still highly encourage you to register in advance as spots are limited.

• MULTI-LEVEL TAIKO (Beginner to Advanced, ages 15 and older) 10:00 – 12:00

$50 for single class or $90 for full day of classes

Includes a full body taiko warm-up and specific instruction on proper alignment, form and technique. Will focus on a broad range of basic and traditional taiko drills and songs and will incorporate training methods unique to SFTD.

• LEVEL 1 TAIKO (Advanced Beginner to Advanced, ages 15 and older) 1:30 – 3:30

$50 for single class or $90 for full day of classes

Faster paced and more rigorous than Multi-Level Taiko. Will introduce advanced taiko techniques and songs, as well as Taiko Q&A – a rhythmic drumming question and answer practice drill.
