Daughters of the American Revolution and Children of the American Revolutin in the Louisville Labor Day Parade

25 members of the Arapahoe Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution participated in the Louisville Labor Day Parade. Many members wore Colonial Costume. 14 hildren of the American Revolution, sponsored by the Daughters of the American Revolution also marched in the parade, dressed in Colonial costume and everyone handed out over 900 American Flags and cards describing the committees of Scholarship, Project Patriot and American History Essay Contests for Boulder Valley Schools.

I recently attended the Boulder Valley School District Parent Council candidate forum. From perusing candidate websites, sometimes it appears that the candidates are very similar in their views and positions. I just finished reading Resistance, a novel set in WWII Wales. The author has given the timeline a different twist. The Germans are winning, the Allied Invasion has failed and Britain is about to fall to the Nazis.
