Mathathon at Academy Raises Over $1,500 for St. Jude Children’s Hospital

By Lilly Hansing, Kindergarten Teacher, Broomfield Academy Students at Broomfield Academy raised $1638 to aid research in diseases that affect children patients battling cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases. Children aged four to twelve participated in Mathathon, a program where students use their mathematics skills to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Sacred Heart of Jesus 5th grade students reenact the Stations of the Cross

As part of the Easter and Holy Week celebration, the Sacred Heart of Jesus 5th grade students performed a living Stations of the Cross. Students from CU's College of Architecture give back to the community on Saturday at North Port Apartments. North Port is a public housing complex, managed by Boulder Housing Partners.
